Getting Help From an IRS Taxpayer Assistance Center

An IRS Taxpayer Assistance Center (TAC), also known as a “walk-in office”, can provide you with face-to-face assistance with IRS personnel. Your local TAC can help you with such services as: getting tax forms, making adjustments to your account,  procedural inquiries, and setting up an installment agreement (payment plan).

To find a TAC nearest you, and to determine which services your TAC provides, click here.

You may wish to schedule an appointment with your TAC to prevent a long wait.

We look forward to serving you.
